While other salons may offer these methods and technologies, we perform these services with experienced hands. They try to impress you with the term “certified,“ you should not be. Thermal Retexturizing has become known by a number of names: Japanese Hair Straightening, Bio-Ionics , Ionic Retexturizing, Thermal Restructuring, Thermal Reconstruction, and Rebonding. If you want long lasting, pin straight hair all the time, and without option of wearing it curly or wavy, this is the best choice for you. This system will make the treated hair permanently straight.
Unlike keratin-based treatments, the chemicals in this solution takes the curl out of the hair permanently . Since the hair will be physically altered (made permanently straight), the new hair that grows in, will have your original curl and natural texture. There will be a line of demarcation between the chemically straightened hair and the new root hair. The new hair growth will need to be treated to blend with the hair that has been previously straightened. Touch-ups to the new growth are recommended every few months.

The Keratin based smoothing systems, regardless of brand name, do not contain chemicals that permanently straighten your hair. This is a treatment that only "coats” the hair and it leaves you the option of wearing your hair curly or natural if you want to. That is why you will not get “roots” or show a line of demarcation with new growth. It does not grow out, it wears off and requires reapplication about every three months.
A Brazilian Keratin Treatment contains protein that has been is formulated into a patented biopolymer product which is virtually “liquid hair” that gently blends with your own hair. The keratin molecules are made smaller so they can fill the cuticle and coat each strand of hair with protein. This type of protein is high in Sulphur and the amino acid Cystine which makes it tough, elastic and insoluble. The results are STRAIGHT, SOFT, SHINY, hair.
Keep in mind that the Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a gentle straightener and with this process your hair may not be “poker straight.” It makes your curly, frizzy hair manageable, and able to be styled pin straight. You may still need to blow dry or flat-iron to achieve the look you desire, but, your hair will dry faster and smoother than ever before and keep the frizz away. The Brazilian Blowout is loaded with botanical extract acai, lipids, amino acids, and keratin, This is a great smoothing system and frizz eliminator. It smoothes the cuticle which gets rid of frizz, adds shine, and softens wavy, curly hair.
Like other keratin formulas, This helps your hair to repel humidity and decrease frizz but will still have volume and body. You may still need to use a straight iron for a completely straight look. Your hair can still be styled wavy or curly whenever you want but with nicer curls and less frizz.
