A Keratin Treatment is not a chemical that restructures your hair. Keratin is a natural protein that is the main protective substance in hair, skin and nails. In fact, hair is about 88% protein. This type of protein is high in Sulphur and the amino acid Cystine which makes it tough, elastic and insoluble. These are fundamental qualities of the strong structural role keratin plays in nature.
